Payment

Porcupine Hugs accepts payments through PayPal or credit card. NYS sales tax applies to orders shipping to a New York address.


Shipping

We're located in New York City and typically ship orders within three business days of the time of order, unless otherwise specified. All orders are shipped via USPS First Class, which generally takes 3-5 business days for domestic orders. Domestic orders can now upgrade to Priority Mail, which takes 2-3 business days after we've prepared and shipped your order. However, USPS does not guarantee arrival dates on First Class or Priority Mail so please upgrade at your discretion as we will not issue shipping refunds if your order does not arrive in the estimated time.

If you would like to purchase insurance or delivery confirmation, please send us a message prior to paying so your invoice can be adjusted.

International orders arrive approximately 1-2 weeks after they are shipped, but customs may delay delivery of your package for up to several weeks if selected for inspection. While we do not provide tracking for international orders, a customs number is provided once the package has shipped to track it up until the point it leaves the U.S. After that, the item can be located through your country's customs office and/or local post office using the customs number provided.

International customers are responsible for any and/or all customs fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping and purchasing to their respective countries.


Refunds and Exchanges

We strive to keep our customers satisfied so if you're not happy with your order and it's something we can fix, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your goods. Items must be returned in original packaging and in salable condition. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Store credit will be granted once we've received the returned item and the customer will be billed for any new shipping costs.

Refunds will only be made if products are damaged during shipment. We package our goods with care, but if something gets knocked en route, please report it within 7 days of receiving your order and return to us within 20 days. A refund will be made (minus the cost of shipping) after we've received the item.

Porcupine Hugs is not responsible for items lost by the U.S. Postal Service and will not provide refunds for lost orders. If you have not received your order, please contact us.
